Legacy Chapter 10Chapter 10: The Sellbot MasterLegacy Chapter 10 by RoxyMcSocks
Antoinette O'Toole folded her arms and glared at the two Lawbots seated before her. One of them was 159-2 the Second in Command, the other was Jeremiah Bigwig himself. She remembered when the Bloodsuckers used to stalk the streets during his reign and was thus extremely wary of him.
"You understand why you were brought here?" 159-2 asked.
"Yes. And it wasn't me."
The Master clasped his hands together and pinned her with a piercing look. "Perhaps you'll care to tell us why we should believe that?"
She swallowed, unnerved by his gaze. "I'm not exactly what you'd call a demolitions expert. Nor do I have any particular reason to go after either the CFO or the CJ. My grievance is with the Sellbots. And only really 717-3, who will confirm this if you ask him. I would've targeted the VP first if it was me. And besides, the, uh, issue has since been resolved."
"How so?" 159-2 asked.
Chapter 4Chapter 4 by Maskerades
Skullsie finally spotted the Loan Shark walking calmly in the street, his hands in his pockets and his head tilted up to the cloudy sky. Her body grew hot. It wasn't an angry hot, or a nervous hot... It was different.
She ran over and walked beside him. "Hi."
He turned his gaze down to her, and she felt hot again, this time in her cheeks.
"Wail howdy, Skallsie."
She got a small chill. Not a scared chill or a nervous chill... It was different, too. She imagined her eyes twinkling when she looked up at him. "Howdy... um..."
"Loan Shark 500C-11."
He smiled and looked forward again. Skullsie expected him to challenge her to a fight, but she tried to push that out of her head. He looked like a vicious Cog, but she tried to make him seem like a nice friend.
"How's your walk?"
"Jest fine. Why'd ya'll follow me?"
Skullsie looked down. "I... I'm not really sure. I did it without thinking..."
She noticed him slump as though he were disappointed. "B-bu-but I just thought I'd come se
Chapter 3Chapter 3 by Maskerades
Skullsie had to hide in the shadows at the entrance until all the Spin Doctors had retreated over the stairs. She lifted her ears straight up, listening hard. She heard Cogs talking... She heard one train, going out of sight, and returning again. She heard deeper, different Cog voices shouting in the far distance. She rubbed her skirt as she stood up and climbing up the stairs.
She laid down on the top step, ears flat on her head, just so her eyes can view what was happening. To her left was a Coin Mint obviously, with oil splattered, almost to where she was hiding. She leaned over the concrete just a little more to view the accident. There were four Spin Doctors, three kneeling at something, and one handing equipment to the others.
"Are those..." Skullsie whispered as she squinted hard to look. "Robber Barons?!"
The Doctors moved aside for a split second to reveal two oily Robber Barons, lying on the ground and crying out in pain. One's face was ripped up, but still intact, and the ot

"Ridiculous..." the CFO muttered as he slammed his hands into the doors, throwing them open.
"They all seemed well trusted," The Robber Baron at his side said. "Just like you told me."
"Just between you and me, 034C, none of those Cogs are in enough physical condition to rob a Mint."
"Or rob anything. Trust me, sir; I know those kinds of things."
"Indeed," the CFO smiled. "But don't say too much of that. You Robber Barons could be greater suspects now."
034C shut up and lowered his head.
"But I don't suspect you, 034C," the CFO patted him on the back. "You know what I would do to you, if it in fact, was you."
034C's eyes widened. He didn't feel too reassured by that.
"But what should I do to protect my Mints?"
"I'm not too sure, sir. Possibly get one, highly trained guard to watch the storage-room?"
"The storage-room is not the only place with Bucks, 034C."
The CFO sighed. "I'm at a loss of what to do..."
Skullsie counted her gags outside of her purple house. "It's
Chapter 1Chapter 1 by Maskerades
The Chief Financial Officer grimaced at the papers in his hands.
"This is horrid," he said. His voice was soft and muffled, like someone was talking into a pillow. "I don't want to see these..."
He turned his gaze from the papers, handing them to the Robber Baron who stood by his desk. The Robber Baron carefully took the papers from the CFO's hands, taking another good look.
The paper on top was the Investigator's report, filled with all kinds of useless information. Lying atop that were photographs from the scene. In them were two Money Bags, their eyes gauged out and sockets scraped with huge holes and tear marks on each of their bodies. Pools of oil surrounded the bodies and were splattered across their suits and faces. One's arm had been torn clean off, wires and half the metal skeleton still attached. The other was probably worse; his jaw and neck torn from his head revealing a metal skull.
It didn't take long for the Robber Baron to turn his gaze as well. "Sir..."
The CFO backed
